Thats alright, no problem. Its meant to be a platform rpg. Its gonna take quite a long time to develop though.

Your sprite will be of a hero of long past. Here's his story when you read his plaque:
The great hero known only as Dragon Knight.
He defeated a evil dragon that nearly destroyed Purapril castle.
His great effort on defending everyone's lives won't be forgotten.
Legend says the dragon he slayed was his brother, that had been corrupted due to his greed.
Sadly, the Dragon knight disappeared a few months after his victory.
His wife kept waiting for him,always staring at the sky....

Actually, I was going to place as a painting instead of a statue, in order to keep the colors. But maybe as a statue it looks better, if it won't take much of your time, try making it look like rock and other image as metal.
Oh, if the player talks to the keeper of the Heroes hall, he will say that the statue/painting was made by the artist BG87, from the far kingdom of Deviantart By the way, if you know of more artists that know Wonder boy tell them about the game, they can make a hero/heroine (human or not) sprite, as maximum size the size of Dragon knight, and I'll add their sprite as an ancient hero, and their name so the player can check them on DA later. Oh, another favor, if you want to help with the game, we could really use your drawing skills, both pixel art and hand made. I think you draw faster than me (i'm good but kinda slow), just send me and Zaqquaya a note ok?

If it'll be a statue, are you gonna change the colors to make it look like stone/metal? I can even do it myself, if it would make it look cooler.

Hey BG87! I already downloaded your Dragon-knight image to place it in the game, actually your image gave me a good idea.
Your statue will be a Hero statue, at a new room of the game's main castle. Actually, it could even have a side quest involved...
